Dr. Rupert Sheldrake – The Morphogenetic Universe

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake – The Morphogenetic Universe

The following was recorded on September 22, 2007 at the “Biology of Transformation Conference” in London.  Morphogenetic fields are specific to an individual and allow for transfer and propagation of learned skills. The information transfer works through “morphic resonance”. This may explain what is known as the “100th monkey” effect. Another aspect of morphogenetic fields is extended mind phenomena within social groups; for example telepathy between humans, the synchronized behavior of a flock of starlings or telepathy between a human and their dog for which Sheldrake presents a short video.

In 1981 Rupert Sheldrake outraged the scientific establishment with his hypothesis of morphic resonance. A morphogenetic field is a hypothetical biological field that contains the information necessary to shape the exact form of a living thing. 1. I was familiar with Rupert Sheldrake and morphic fields having read “Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home.” But I really liked his presentation and especially the experiments he shares. I never knew that morphic fields evolved. Fascinating!

    • Yea it is fascinating! My dogs know when I’m leaving the house before I even do anything, just have to be thinking about it. If you have the patience to listen, Manly P. Hall speaks in great depth on energy fields and magnetic fields. Listening to some now and will post later… will write a little about them if I have a chance.
